About Disturbine
Disturbine is a Steam release intelligence tool. It serves two audiences: indie game hunters looking for the new releases Steam’s curated featured slots never highlight, and game developers who need release-timing data the storefront doesn’t aggregate elsewhere — weekly launch volume, day-of-week patterns, genre saturation, Early Access → 1.0 transitions.
The crawler hits Steam’s public catalog every twelve minutes and maintains an independent, append-only snapshot of every app entry: title, publisher-declared content descriptors, prices, community tags (from SteamSpy), genres, and release dates. State changes — a game leaving Early Access, a demo going public, a price drop, a release-date shift — get their own timestamped event log. Visit /stats for the live dashboard, or /feed for the discovery timeline.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell your account data or browsing history.
- We don’t serve adult content by default; NSFW is filtered out unless you opt in.
- We don’t scrape anything Steam’s public API doesn’t expose.
- We don’t editorialize the feed — every release shows up in detection order.
